Our school Curriculum
Libermann junior school Namugongo is one of the best primary schools in Uganda in terms of curriculum development.
We provide holistic education to pupils which cultivates cognitive skills such as critical thinking, problem solving, and strategic planning among others.
We also provide a stimulating and credible learning environment which will produce dynamic and talented young Ugandan citizens and ensure all learners are equipped to meet challenges of life.
We offer education to both Ugandan and non-Ugandan children based on the Ugandan curriculum and equipping them with necessary life skills. Examinable subjects offered include: Maths, English, Social studies, integrated science, and religious education.
Non examinable subjects offered include art and craft, P.E, Music, ICT, etc.
The school has qualified staff who provide quality education to the learners.
Pupils’ welfare is also excellent and this has been attributed to the committed and caring administrators (Spiritan fathers) and more so a big land where we grow school foods. We boast of a number of school facilities which facilitates a conducive learning environment and these include: specious classrooms, dormitories, dining and library.
Libermann junior school being a catholic founded school, children are disciplined and developed morally and spiritually. Catechism lessons always take place, first Holy Communion, solemn communion and confirmation are all received from school.
We celebrate mass every Thursday and Sunday of the week. We recite the rosery during all Marian months and follow the way of the cross during Lenten period as per the Catholic norms.
School tours
We always have school tours in second term and visit different places like Uganda museum, Recreation centres, zoos, bakeries which give children exposure.
Clubs in the school / extra curriculum
We have different clubs eg. Swimming club, Girl Guide scouting club and art and crafts club.
Music dance and drama, football, netball, board games Volley ball, gardening, chess, snakes and ladders, puzzle games among others.
Admissions
Admissions take place Monday to Friday at the school premises from 8:00am to 5:00 pm.
